My sweet granddaughter, she keeps on growing up

I had been gone from my blog for a while.  I just wanted to say that I had been diagnosed with Ductal breast Cancer Stage 3.  I went to the doctor to have a mammogram done and immediately they discovered my lump.  This was about June this year.  In a matter of two weeks I was having surgery, a lumpectomy, to remove the cancerous lump.  Of course the biopsy was done too.  And I started chemotherapy right away.  I am in my 4th cycle of chemo.  I lost all my hair, thank goodness for wigs!  The hardest part of chemo is every time i get it, The nausous are horrible for about a week but later on i get better and i function normally, till the next cycle.  I am half way treatment now,  Only for more and I am done with chemo.  Then I will have radiation for about a month and a half and the nightmare will be gone.  Hoping to be declared cancer free.  So, for now, that's all is going on in my life.
